Pets OS takes over your phone's home screen and lock screen. It comes with Rest, Clarice, Pen, Moments, Files, Weather, Calendar, Clock, Calculator, Activities, O Store (get Milo, the Pets OS web browser, there) and Settings. Your Android apps keep working inside Pets OS. Stephone, the Pets OS phone, is coming soon; until then Pets OS for Stephone runs on your Android phone.

How to install

1. Tap Download on your Android phone.
2. Open the downloaded file. If the phone says installs from this browser are blocked, allow it in the settings it shows you, then go back and tap Install.
3. Open Pets OS and follow the setup.
4. When Android asks to set Pets OS as your default home app, choose Pets OS. The Home button then always brings you back to Pets OS, and Pets OS opens every time the phone turns on.
5. Already have Pets OS? Open Settings in Pets OS, then Software Update. Installing over the old version keeps your notes, photos and settings.

Good to know

• Pets OS runs on top of Android. It does not erase or replace Android, so your phone, calls and apps stay as they are.
• To go back to the old home screen, open Android Settings, then Apps, then Default apps, then Home app, and pick the previous one.
• Keep Android's own screen lock on as well as the Pets OS passcode.
